From a kid to a full grown adult, everyone desires to have a beautiful and expensive car. Today, cars are not just limited to be a means of transportation. They have become a status symbol. And when we talk about status symbol brands are an essential aspect of a car. Therefore, to attract more customers the automotive manufacturers are pushing the limits of engineering. They are not just cars anymore, they can be called a decorative art piece instead. Carbon fiber body, more horsepowers are the key to more attention. I have listed the most expensive road legal cars in the world.

  • Ken Okuyuma Kode57 –  2.5 Million dollars: 

    You might not be heard the brand, but it is the name of its designer Ken Okuyama. He is the same guy behind the legendary Ferrari Enzo. The Kode57 is powered by a V12 engine that produces a massive 600 horsepower. Presently, only 5 units are produced.

  • Pininfarina H2 Speed: 2.5 million dollars: 

    it was built mainly for the Le Mans racing. The car is entirely eco-friendly as it is powered by two electric motors producing 502 horsepower to wheels. Furthermore, a car is based on hydrogen fuel cell and it was first revealed at the Geneva Motor show 2016. However, only ten units have been produced so far. The owners are expected to get the delivery by 2018.

  • Ferrari F60 America: 2.5 million dollars:

    Ferrari made this special car on completion of 60 years of their company in America. The F60 is based on a standard F12 Berlinetta and it comes with a V12 engine that produces 750 horsepowers. Being a rear wheel drive car the F60 corners extremely fast. Furthermore, it can reach 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. And if start talking about the styling of the car, then the whole list will be consumed by the greatness of Italian design only.

  • McLaren P1 GTR: 2.59 million dollars: 

    This exotic car is only limited to 35 units. And the GTR version is the extension to their P1 range. As a result, the new car offers a V8 twin turbo engine with over 986 horsepower. The top speed is said to be over 200 mph and it reaches 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Mclaren is the racing division of Mercedes.

  • Bugatti Chiron: 2.6 million dollars: 

    The Chiron is the latest offering by Bugatti after their exquisite Veyron line up. Bugatti Chiron was displayed first at the Geneva motor show 2016. In addition, the car features as W16 engine taken from the old Veyron range. But this time Bugatti has filled it with some quad turbochargers to produce a massive 1500 brake horsepower. However, the speed has been limited to 420 Km/h and 0-100 km takes about 2,4 seconds. The Chiron is an update to its older brother the Veyron.

  • Pagani Huayra BC: 2.6 million dollars: 

    There are only 100 units of the Huayra BC. Pagani has fitted a powerful V12 engine that produces a respectable 750 brake horsepower. Furthermore, the company is known for naming their cars on the name of winds and gods. This supercar will go on sale next year and only few will their hands on.

  • Bugatti Veyron- Grand Sports Vitesse: 2.6 million dollars: 

    Bugatti is well known for manufacturing some of the fastest cars in the world. In 2015 they introduced the final version of Veyron lineup at the Geneva motor show. As a result, the Grand Sports Vitesse comes with a 1200 horsepower and can reach up to a speed of 254 mph.

  • LaFerrari FXX K: 2.7 million dollars: 

    Every Ferrari is a technological marvel and LaFerrari is no exception. It produces over 950 horsepower, that’s quite enough to make you win any race. Furthermore, the car has been given Ferrari’s special racing gene instead of focusing simple luxury. Surely, LaFerrari is made for a track day.

  • Icona Vulcano Titanium: 2.7 million dollars: 

    Being world’s first titanium car, the Icona Vulcano Titanium stands out with its unique design. Mario Cavagnaro and Claudio Lombardi, both ex-Ferrari engineers made this car into reality. Furthermore, the car is powered by a 6.2 liters supercharged V8 engine that produces 670 brake horsepower. However, the top speed has been limited to 355 km/h and it takes 2.8 seconds to reach 62 mph from a standstill.

  • Koenigsegg One:1: 2.85 million dollars: 

    Koenigsegg is the best competitor to Bugatti’s dominance over speed. The One:1 is a fast supercar with a 5.0-liter twin turbocharged engine that produces 1340 brake horsepower. In addition, the car weighs so light at just 1340 Kg and it completely made from shiny carbon fiber. Furthermore, the lightweight makes it possible to reach 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds. No doubt, this is a track car instead of a luxury cruiser.

  • Mercedes AMG R50: 3 Million Dollars: 

    The AMG is the performance division of Mercedes-Benz and that’s where they put the cutting edge technology. The R50 is another performance oriented exotic offering by Mercedes-Benz. As a matter of fact, the company will launch it on their 50th anniversary of the AMG tag. The car will have a powerful engine that will produce about 1300 brake horse power. Furthermore, it will be a hybrid car with a carbon fiber body and monocoque chassis.

  • Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio: 3 million dollars:

    Only six units were ever produced. It was designed by Italian design house Pininfarina. However, the car is basically a Ferrari 458 with some cosmetic changes in both interior and exterior. The Sergio is lighter than the 458 which makes it quicker and agiler. Furthermore, the cars pack a 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 562 horsepower. The performance is outstanding like any other supercars in the market. As 0-62 mph just takes 3.4 seconds.

  • Bugatti Veyron by Mansory Vivere: 3.4 Million dollars: 

    This version of Veyron is the fastest version ever produced. In addition to that, it is also one of the most expensive cars in the world. Mansory Vivere has given it a gorgeous carbon fiber body and upgraded LED lights. Furthermore, you are getting Bugatti’s flagship 8-liter W16 engine that produces 1200 brake horsepower. This car comes under expensive cars.

  • Lykan Hypersport: 3.4 Million dollars: 

    Being the start vehicle in the block buster Furious 7. The Lykan Hypersport is developed by a Dubai based motor company. Furthermore, the car is fitted with a big 7-liter twin turbo engine that produces 700 horsepower. Presently, only 7 units are being produced. In the performance department, it can compete for any other supercar in the world. As a matter of fact, the car only takes 2.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a stand still. Furthermore, the car comes with embedded jewels like diamonds, rubies or even sapphires. This car comes under expensive cars.

  • McLaren P1 LM: 3.7 Million dollars: 

    It is the most extreme version of the standard P1. Lanzante Motorsport gave their effort to create this supercar. As a result, it is lighter than the P1 GTR but has similar performance figures. This car comes under expensive cars.

  • Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta: 3.8 Million dollars: 

    Another entry by Ferrari into our list, LaFerrari Aperta is further upgraded of the standard LaFerrari. Therefore, only 70 units will be ever produced. The car has got all the modern necessities like soft carbon fiber.

  • Aston Martin AM-RB 001: 3.9 Million dollars: 

    The Racing division Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing team announced this car as n F1 inspired hypercar. As a result, the car packs a powerful V12 engine with F1 energy recovery system. However, only 150 units will be ever produced and the owners will have to wait till 2018 for the delivery. But if you got the money then you can readily test prototypes in their testing facility. This car comes under expensive cars.

  • Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita: 4.8 Million dollars: 

    Another entry by the Swedish manufacturer in our list. The CCXR Trevita is coated with diamonds and comes with a fine carbon fiber chassis. Furthermore, the Sun makes the car glow like an ornament or a jewelry. However, all these shiny bits doesn’t mean it lacks in performance. CCXR Trevita comes with dual supercharged V8 that produces massive 1018 horsepower. 0-60, take only 2.9 seconds. Floyd Mayweather was the first celebrity to purchase this exotic sports car. Till date, only 3 units have been produced.
